Hyperstene is a Third Eye Chakra stone. It is a cousin of labradorite, and is usually found growing with it. It is opaque and it shimmers with silver or golden streaks. Although black stones are usually associated with the Root Chakra, this one is powerfully associated to the Third Eye, meaning intuition and inner knowledge. It is protective in regards to mental functions. It supports introspection and interpretation.
