$ 5.00
A specimen of rough golden muscovite mica.
Micas are known for their perfect basal cleavage, meaning their ability to split into thin sheets. Mica is mostly silvery, looking like aluminum, but in different circumstances, variations occur. Mica can also be golden, or purple, for example, in which cases it is referred to as muscovite, or lepidolite.
This golden muscovite specimen comes from Minas Gerais, Brazil. When it forms in a cluster, the sheets going in many different directions, it is referred to as a golden star muscovite cluster.
Golden muscovite is associated with the Solar Plexus Chakra, which relates to the themes of self-confidence and authenticity. It is said to support mental processing, listening to one’s intuition, and countering stress and anxiety.
