A specimen of moonstone tumbled pocket stone.
White moonstone is a variety of orthoclase feldspar with a translucent milky-white to pale silver body color, sometimes accented with faint beige or bluish tones. Its defining feature is adularescence—a soft, glowing sheen that appears to drift beneath the surface, caused by light scattering between microscopic layers of feldspar and albite.
In metaphysical traditions, white moonstone is regarded as a stone of intuition, spiritual connection, and new beginnings. It is believed to enhance psychic perception, balance emotions, and attune the wearer to lunar energy. Associated with the Crown, Third Eye and Heart Chakras, it bridges inner wisdom with higher consciousness. As a talisman, moonstone is strongly associated with ideas of insights, intuition, Divine Feminine and success.
