Ancestralite is the commercial name of a rare and ancient metamorphic rock formed from a combination of martite (a pseudomorph of magnetite after hematite), red jasper, and hematite. This striking stone features alternating layers of metallic silver-gray and deep red, resulting in a visually captivating banded appearance. Its formation process involves complex geological transformations, including mineral replacement and fossilization, which contribute to its unique composition and appearance. It is primarily found in regions with ancient geological formations, such as the Pilbara Craton in Western Australia, as well as parts of South Africa and Brazil.

In metaphysical traditions, Ancestralite is considered a stone of grounding, healing, and ancestral connection.
