Anhydrite Tumbled Pocket Stone

Anhydrite tumbled pocket stone. Anhydrite is a beautiful powder blue stone associated with the Throat Chakra, meaning self-expression in all its forms. It was first discovered in Peru in 1987. Angelite is a variety of anhydrite. Both are water-soluble and should avoid contact with water, as they will transform into gypsum. This fact correlates to the name of the stone, anhydras, meaning “without water” in Greek, as the stone appears in areas where the lack of water permits its crystallization.
